Alignment and Diplomacy

There is two things that annoy me a little with the diplomacy:

Good have -2 relation to neutral and evil.
Neutral have -2 to good and evil.
Evil have -2 to good and neutral.

Neutral doesn't seem neutral!!! Everyone is taking sides... In my opinion they shouldn't have any modifier towards good and evil and those with neutral. Or at least reduce the penalty to -1. Also the relation penalty should be higher toward good vs evil (-3 or -4) and also higher to same alignment (here neutral should have bonuses to another neutral civ) to enforce the good vs evil wars.

My proposal would be:

Good: +3/+4 Good; -3/-4 Evil
Neutral: +2 Neutral
Evil: +3/4 Evil; -3/-4 Good

And concerning the religion changing alignments, they should be delayed. Meaning that only after x turns (100+) following the same religion the alignment should change. This way we could try to revert the effect before the change happens.

I think the neutrals only have the minuses to good and evil because they are not neutral

I'm pretty sure good have no negative towards neutrals.....

I think the minuses are only so low because they rise as the armageddon counter goes up.

And neutral shouldn't get bonuses with eachother, that would make it good vs neutral vs evil. And besides most neutral teams are neutral because they prefer to work alone eg. the isolationist Khazad, the mercenary Hippus or the forsakers of the gods...

Additionally the good vs evil and evil vs good penalty is modifed by the armageddon counter. The higher the counter the bigger their penalty (which neutral countries stay out of).
 
I believe that Good used to not have any problem with neutral, and that the penalty between good and evil were larger. I'm not sure why it was changed.


I'm not sure how the religion alignment change change would work. I'm still hoping that someone will make a modmod introducing a range of alignments that change slightly based on your religion, civic, and mostly actions (random even choices, declarations of war, razing cities, AC contribution, using slaves, population rushing, feast/feed spells (for calabm), how you deal with unhealthiness/unhappiness, over/undercouncil votes, etc). I'm pretty sure tat is beyond me at the moment.
