I don't see how who your leader is affects anything. Personally, I never look at what my leader is, only the ugly (and cute Joan) faces of the AIs.

i just cant see myself as a woman, i play online a lot and i couldnt handle someone hailing me and seeing a picture of isabella representing me, just seems wrong, they should have male and females leaders for every civ.

I know what you mean. I often change the leader name, but the portrait doesn't change. Ok, calling the Russian leader Ivan and seeing the face of Catharina isn't to hard to imagine, but having Napoleon for France and seeing Joan is!

There's a lot of Civs I've never played thru a game as. Scandinavians, Incans, Mayans, Iroquois, Netherlands, Portugal, Mongols, perhaps a couple more.
