am I supposed to have a desktop Icon?

For BTS--I just installed the expansion and the 3.19 patch on my Vista machine--the only way I can start the game is go through the "mycomputer window" and click on the optical drive that contains the BTS disk.

I know it's NBD-but it dosen't seem right. The game runs fine--JICYW.

The game often seems to not install icons on the desktop, it didn't for me in Vista either. If you look in Start>All Programs and find Civ you can right click on the game and select send to desktop which will create a shortcut for you.

I've not a single game wich installs desktop icons. Vista puts the icons in 'games' (the name could be different on your PC) folder in the start menu.
