Very strange, started a new game and after war in Ancient (made peace at earliest possibility), had no war weariness but now there is. Has been 15 turns as I made peace in epic speed. And seems that is not going away, have in all 5 my cities, except one, which I found 3 turns ago ( 12 turns after peace was made).

Now, about 2-3 turns later, I was DoW by other AI and my war weariness keeps raising, it's about 5 turns of war, but my war weariness is already 2 in 5 cities, and 1 in the last city. I think that it's going to make the game unplayable.
This is situation in my capital, for growth accounted unhappiness 6 not 4. All other cities have unhapiness exceeding the limit of population.

I have converted 55 cities and have 5 votes in WC, then I take fealty policy Organized Religion which suppose to give another 5 votes, bot I get none.

It was a WC vote turn, next turn I got my 5 votes. But still, I adopted it one turn before session and didn't get my votes in time.

Are you still having problems with war weariness/ did you ever figure out what was causing it?

I can't tell for sure, because then I had several problems, couldn't load saved games, had lot's CTDs. I deleted civ folder, installed everything all over. Now I still see unhappiness from war weariness, even without wars and those exceed my total number of citizen. But it doesn't grow much and you can deal with that, develop your cities, trade for luxes and it's in early to mid game and I play with a lot of modmods, especially with Unique City States which introduce many new luxuries, so in Renaissance and later happiness is not a problem.

Hi, Im not sure if Im missing something, but Im playing Venice with only 1 city turn 427 and reserched satellites long time ago, and I cant complete the apollo program, I already completed Robotics and build spaceship factory, also reserched Nanotechnology and Particle Physics, and still not able to build any spachip parts because Im not able to get the Apollo Program.

Most of my competitors alredy had the Apollo Program

Am I missing some prerec?

Patch version 4.16.2 and 4 extra MODs

Im going to try with the patch only and RED that Im sure that not affect anything besides the units, maybe there is some conflict with the other 3 MODs and the patch

MODs used:

Community patch 1, 2, 3a, 4a
Historical Religions v45
National Wonder Collection v3
RED v27
Wonder Race v7

Something weird going on. Playing Morocco and got sanctioned by congress. Well, decided to go rogue on caravans in the world.
The problem: I can pillage caravans of AI with whom Im at war, pillaged another of AI which is vassal (not mine) but cannot pillage caravans of other civs.

Same with land caravan. Can't figure out what actually changed, before in early game mechanic worked as intended.

Im not able to get the Apollo Program
Sounds odd. You said the AI are completing it, so that means its not your mods somehow removing it from the game.

Im not familiar with those wonder mods you have so maybe something weird is going on.
If you upload your savegame to github along with the zipped MODS folder I can look for you

What are actual cons of human vassaliage? I had tough game were I over-invested too much in classical fight, tried to get friends with neighbouring warmonger, unsuccessfully, and instead of bloodshed peacefully conceded. Well, obvious ones are 1) +20% of science for free 2) grand tourism pressure.
Having their diplomat in your capital actually allow you to trade votes, e.g. free money for investing. And AI despite of being fierce warmonger has never set any taxes for me.

Pride and self respect.

You can always be dragged into unexpected wars, even those with your friends.

i often vassal in deity games, only way to survive sometimes
How does a game go after becoming a vassal? Generally, do you emancipate yourself after a while? Can you ever expect to win a game as a vassal? I know it's not all about winning but the friends we made along the way ;)

i haven't won a deity game in 5+ years, so not well :D and I can't recall ever having won a game in which I vassal'd tbh (though its possible, way back.. just cant remember)

The deity unit spam is nigh impossible to deal with head-on in open terrain if you're playing a civ without a suitable UA to counter it -- vassaling gives me my own deity unit spam in a roundabout way; I think thats the best case for it. Or makes it possible to take on another large vassal block etc. I wouldn't call it a winning strategy necessarily, more of a survival strategy -- i used to play hotseat rather often, where abandoning a weak game just meant sitting out and not playing for weeks/months as others carried on. There it made a lot of sense to stay in the mix while remaining independent from the other humans

Interesting. Thanks for the detailed reply. I tried Deity a couple of times. It didn't go well... What is the appeal personally for you to keep playing Deity if you never win and feels impossible at times?

If I win a few in a row at Emperor, I'll go to Immortal. I may win now and then but I find I'll drop back to Emperor. Of course, some victory conditions are easier to attain than others.

Reading your post, I think I'll let myself be vassalized rather than quit if a game goes terribly wrong. Just to see how it all plays out. Thanks :)
