is not a pipe.
BTW, has anyone heard from Chieftess? She would've post a thread asking for nominations to the vacancy in the court, so she could appoint on for coucil approval.

I agree. I do not think lack of moderator involvement made the first game a success. While both things are true (the first game was a success and there was minimal mod involvment), they are not dependent on one another.
I think, regardless of what position he holds, Shaitan will end up clarifying the consitution anyway.

I was actually hoping that we'd all someday get around to discussing optional turn chats. if we could pass such a measure the Shaitan might then actually accept Bill_in_PDX's nomination. As a mod that seems out of the question.

I posted in the other thread located in the main forum. In this discussion about positions that Mods can take, I might add to what I previously posted.
I think the Judicial Dept. is well suited for a Mod. Especially Chief Justice for Shaitan. The JD has a supervisory roll in the game and Mods have a similiar function, so I don't see a big problem.
President, Cabinet Member, or Governor are not positions they should hold. These are for mere citizens to run for and obtain. I firmly believe this and will campaign strongly against any Mod trying to wrangle one of these away from from us. It would be totally unfair and stepping over boundries which were set in the original Constitution, I believe. I also have no problem with Mods being a Mayor.
So welcoming the Mods as citizens, Mayors, and members of the Judiciary is something I support. So is limiting the positions for which they can run.
Nope. We got as far as finding out what positions are acceptable for mods (judicial offices are okay) but that's it. The restrictive law has not been modified.Originally posted by chiefpaco
