I dunno I haven't really seen too much British comedy as funny as the Shapell Show. Sure its vulgar but comedy is all about laughing at damn near anything not being pleasant or respectfull.

Now I like British Comedy more, but Seinfeld was still a great show. Frasier was not as good by a long shot.

Frasier (US), as a character is only so-so, but the show is pretty funny and has great diversity. First season was a bit iffy and the characters' personalities changed, but no matter.

Sienfeld (US) is the worst character in his own show, and that's the funniest thing about it. If you removed the star, it might be watchable

Shows I prefer are Dad's Army (UK), It ain't half hot mum (UK), Black Adder Goes Fourth (UK), MASH (US)... and they all share the war for the backdrop. I don't know why this appeals, maybe the serious backdrop contrasts with the humour?

At the moment, Scrubs (US) is my favourite. This also has a serious backdrop, but I feel the jokes have become repetitive/predictable so I'll probably lose interest soon.

I don't supppose there's anything particularly bad about him, he's just not funny. The few jokes he comes out with make my brain melt with disbelief. He's in the same catagory as "Why did the chicken cross the road.."

Have you ever heard "The Magic Loogie" speech? I swear that thing is among the most hilarious things ever devised!

I don't know. I have seen a number of episodes, but I cannot recall the contents of each or the dialog.

I found an occasional epsode of Seinfeld funny but in general I thought it was so so. Not bad, not good.
