An idea for expanding civics ... with matter !

I read Nature State as an offhanded reference to Hobbes' state of nature. If that is the correct reading, it would make perfect sense. However, I'd be in favor of switching it to State of Nature, just to make the reference more explicit.

I'm interested in seeing different civics than the original ones for a while too, but I fiddle around with them myself and want the exceptional civics to be included in seperate modcomps, not the actual mod itself.

However, I could use a 6x6 civics screen. Anyone know and want to tell how to make one?

If Rhye wants all the civics to have the same number of options, and everyone want a little more flexability which might mean another civic option for each category, then why not add another to the Expansion category as well? I'd suggest something to represent the classical ages, maybe a civic which reduces resistance in conquered cities but comes with a penalty so it won't be as useful as Occupation later? Though that would not work very well with Babylon, but I don't think it matters (it could always be enabled with Monarchy, as Babylon is supposed to research that anyway).

Maybe move Vassalage to the Expansion category and add a new civic to the Legal category? That's what I'm going to do if I only got that 6x6 civics screen somewhere and the little knowledge of how to code the new expansion civic to give the desired effect. :p Maybe give the expansion civic Federalism/Confederacy some consideration too?
