Hey guys

I realise similar threads have been posted over time, but I was wondering which ancient forest retextures come reccommended by the community? What are their pro's and cons etc?

It's starting to hurt a little when I look at the Elven landscape I have conquered in a recent game. All that super bright green lol :)

Take the "haunted forest" one. It looks more wild and untamed, and it takes up the whole square so you don't get the rows on rows of forest you get with the default one. It's only con might be that it almost totally covers up the land under it.

Oh? Does it cover roads?... that might be a bit irritating!

Thanks :)

It covers everything... you can still see through it a little, and it looks really good, and you can always hover the mouse over the tile.

OK fangorn forest it is :)

MacGyverInSpace just search the forum for ancient forest. I found it there :)

I think I may have a link to it on my laptop, but I'm stuck with the family PC for now. I'm home for a 1 week break between spring and summer semesters, and stuck with dial-up. I don't want to install AoL on my laptop.
