Animated units as resources?

Did anyone already try to put unitgraphics as a resource? I put the panther in but it will stand still or within view of a civ fade if I just rename it's freezeanimations. Does anyone know how to get it properly animated. Which kfm files should I rename also? or isn't it possible?
 
I'll post you just to keep you company. :) Sadly I know nothing about it, but would love to get some settlers green skinned and make an animated alien resource.
 
yeah it works perfectly but don't put animation

(try animals like horses camel (horse.nif only!!!!!) that's what i did
 
But I want panther and maybe warrior, do you think this'll work(animated)? Don't think so cause the bones are to different. So I probably need to assign some unit animations as recource, which ones or is this possible anyway?

Edit: No this won't work with panther.
