Animation at startup

Good day,

Could you please inform me where the animation file that automatically plays upon starting Civ3 Conquests is located? I wish to modify it.

IIRC, the file's called "intro.bik".

There's the original Vanilla one in the root ../Civilization3/ directory (not sure of the exact sub-path, maybe ../Art/Movies/ ?), and an extended version of it in the equivalent sub-path of the ../Civilization3/Conquests/ directory.

Assuming you're making a Conquests mod, the latter is the one you'd need to replace with your edited version.

Where located audio file? The one that also runs with the video?

I just had a look in my installation, and though I found a whole bunch of .mp3 files in the various ../Sounds/ folders (one for Vanilla, one for PtW, and one for Conquests), none of the filenames were an obvious match for the intro-movies, and none of the files (with the more obscure names) that I tried playing seemed to correspond to the movies either.

While my checks weren't exhaustive, it seems safe to assume that the audio-tracks were/are packaged into the .bik movie-files, along with the video.
