Annoying Start issue

This is really irritating and I think should be fixed if possible.
When starting a new game, if I don't like the start I am given then restarting should randomly reset my starting position on the map - not just plonk me down in exactly the same place again.

There's two options in the menu - Restart and New Map. Sounds like you want New Map. Picking New Map will keep the settings but generate a new map and placement for the players. Restart goes back to the very start of the game, it is intentionally the same as loading a save made when the game started.
