I'm on a roll here .....

I'm trying to understand as much as possible concerning the indications on the screen, I've got the little "sun" explained in the status window - but I've got one more.

In the status window there are some numbers next to my civilisation name (resembling the attack/defense/movement numbers next to a unit)

What does these numbers tell you? I've tried to find it, but failed. Anyone???

They are the %s that determine where your income goes.

First one is your government's "spending money" % that gets applied to the treasury.

Second one is science %

Third one is happiness %

If you change the sliders in the F1 screen it changes these numbers.

Slightly confused - you mean in percentage? Maybe we're talking about different numbers - I don't have the game here, but I'm looking at the screenshots on this site. (Look at screenshot 5 of 153 for instance) - it say "Chinese Despotism (5.5.0)" - or at screenshot 4 it says Chinese Monarchy (2.7.1).

They don't seem to be percentages - otherwise your explanation seems to make sense in that you can quickly gauge your CIV's "vital statistics".

Do we speak about the same numbers??

5.5.0 means 50% treasury, 50% science, 0% happiness.

The first number is for percent for Treasury.
The second number is for percent for Science.
The third number is for percent for Happiness.

So 2.7.1 means that 20% goes to Treasury, 70% goes to the Science and 10% goes to Happiness.

Thanks, but it wasn't a big deal, because it worked like this way in Civ2 also. And I've played Civ2 really very much. You just don't wanna know.
