how do us mac users go about getting screencaptures from civ? seeing as it takes up the whole screen, and the utility Grab can't be employed. . .(or can it?)

Command-Shift-3 works in Civ3 as it does in any Mac program, and has since 1984 as far as I know. It puts a pdf file containing the screen image on the desktop called 'PictureNN' where NN is a sequence number from 1 upwards.

You can open and edit the pdf files this creates in Preview or in Photoshop or GraphicConverter (I use Phtoshop Elements)

Control-Command-Shift-3 puts the screen image on the clipboard, so you can Command-H or Command-P out of Civ3 and paste the image straight into a Photoshop or GraphicConverter window.

Command-Shift-4 does the same, but gives you an additional 'target' cursor so you can drag and click to capture a specific area of the screen.

Command-Shift-4 rarely works for me. Due to the way it takes scrrenshots, I end up with a black pic most of the time. Command-Shift-3 seems to work without fail.
