I was wondering. TA has been modded to hell, eg the Unit Pack gives you like 250 units+buildings. Even TA Spring.
Civ 1 is the best civ by far I think still. Only it would be amazing if it could be modded to include a couple things.
1 - make it compatible with all new windows versions because I currently can't use my civ because it runs slow (I've tinkered with the memory settings).
2 - include civ 3 style diplomacy settings, imagine civ 1 with mutual defense pacts, etc. Basically, the depth of diplomacy options in civ 3 on civ 1.
3 - include some sort of feature that increases happiness late game. Its not a major problem, doesnt make the game unplayable but in the late game if you for example rule the whole of europe/africa/asia you tend to have to attend to alot of civil disorders every turn. Making that process easier/quicker/automatic would be a nice touch.
4 - a gameplay feature so that you arent peanilised so much from cities being distant from the capital. Same as 3 its not a massive thing but it'd be nice if this was ironed out a little.
