Apart from the (imo very good) "It Follows", is there any other notable new horror movie?

Mostly interested in psychological horror.

Prior to that, only two ok/good horror movies i saw were The Babadook and Lord of Tears. (iirc 2013 and 2014).

Can't recommend any decent ones, all I can say is avoid this one like the plague:

Comment section from IMDB describes it best:

''I picked it based upon one stellar review after the other...and all I have to say is that they must have confused the terms Horror and Horrible."

I haven't seen them yet, but high on my list of things to watch are The Babadook and 10 Cloverfield Lane.

And for action-horror, Train to Busan opens here in the States today.

I read that the conjuring 2 is based on an actual happening (there are videos of bbc and channel4 'documentaries' of the same series of events, on youtube).

While i am not at all drawn to 'haunting' themed movies, i might give it a try. Doubt it will be of much interest, though.

There is a JERUZALEM with a Z so Iam hoping for at least 1 zombie movie for this year
That or next year we'll have a new Aliens movies

The trailer for Arrival looks good. Great cast, anyway. It's hard to tell if it's a horror movie, though.

Saw 10 Cloverfield lane last night, it was interesting to see John Goodman in a role uncharacteristic for him. The ending (last ~15 minutes of the movie) sucked ass in my opinion.
