Im trying to change the xml of a game we are currently playing, after ive made the changes we both load the game and nothing has happened. Ive tried to change the health bonous for a philisofical trait and also the happniess. As that didnt work i tried changing the same values of an original wonder i have the oracle. The changes regisier on the hud saying the oracle is now giving me extra happniess and health but nothing has changed on my city values please help any info would be a real insight as this problem is getting me down at the mo.

By "both" I assume your trying this with another human(LAN or internet?)

Not all changes can be made "on the fly". Even though the game says the change has taken place, you need to restart a new game before they actually do. Some changes mid-game will even cause the game to crash or prevent you from loading a save game.
