Any other games like faces of war and soldiers: heroes of WWII?

For RTS games based on the Second World War, I would recommend Company of Heroes, which is a rather excellent game set during the Allies liberation of France. Alternatively there's Codename
anzers, which is set throughout the entire war. I know CoH has a demo out, not sure about the latter game.
Can't think of anything similar to Commandos except perhaps Hidden and Dangerous, but I haven't played it yet

Im not looking for RTS Im looking for games that are similar Faces of war, soldiers: heroes of WWII and the commandos series which are somewhat of a rpg-squad-based point&click WWII based types of games where you have to pick up ammo and each soldier has an inventory.

Ah, my bad. I always assumed they were standard RTS's.
Hidden and Dangerous should still work though, at least the first one. You had a squad of four, and had to utilise their skills to make it across the mission. Could be quite tense, but it's more of a third-person style view. I always felt it was a bit like a 3D Commandos when it was released, but I only played the originals of each game, so can't vouch for their modern sequels.

Hidden and Dangerous 2 was really good......

For ww2 flavoured games I recommend Company of Heros and Codename Panzers. Fine RTS games
Found this thread randomly searching on google for the same thing. Anyways I already PM'ed a response but figured id post it here for any others like me searching google.
Theres one other game I know of pretty much exactly like these two games, its called Soldiers of Anarchy,

its made by Silver Style Entertainment. Its older than the other 2 but not by much, and still looks great today. Its set in a post apocalyptic world.
Only feature it doesnt have is the direct control.
Also Men of War is going to be coming out soon, same type of game, based in WWII from the makers of SHOWWII, and Faces of War
I saw you other guys recommend COH, and a few others, I love COH, but if you have not played Faces of War or SHOWWII you are really missing out. The attention to detail is surreal. You can get in all vehicles, and if you run out of fuel you can grab a barrel and syphon fuel from other vehicles for your own. You can set fire to anything with matches, blow up EVERYTHING with realistic physics.
Anyways both releases were overshadowed by more hyped games, SHOWWII was over shadowed years ago, and Faces of War was overshadowed by COH. You can find Faces of War for $5-$15 at most stores now. Highly recommended.

I have SHOWWII, and it is an awesome game. Direct control FTW. Too bad it has Starforce
