Any other games like Pirates! out there?

I think there's a couple of indie rip-offs of the pirates theme, so I don't think they capture it quite as well.

Ah ok thank you, Pirates! was such a fun game, it's a pity they did'nt make a new one.

Port Royale 2 is similar from what I've played so far. It expands on the economy quite a bit more, but I think lacks quite a bit in the combat

Was playing Mount and Blade original, and have to remark again that it plays a lot like a medieval robber baron's version of Pirates!, though not at all about Carribean pirates of course.
