Philly,
I'm looking for very good Civ 6 players producing Deity VidLP's (without Mods). I'm watching a Deity LP (by Mal). He goes Alex, and on turn 186 (Epic speed) he's met one AI, is losing units to barbs, and only has 3 cities. I want someone I can learn from, so when they do something that looks strange to me, my natural reaction is "why did they do that?", not "what an idiot". FilthyRobot has stopped producing for now, it seems. I liked Acken (RezoAcken) for Civ 5, but he hasn't made anything for Civ 6. James Nicolson made one on TSL Australia, started with Scout and cursed his bad luck that he hadn't found any tribal villages. Quill18 is entertaining, but can get some facts wrong. Marbozir hasn't produced anything Mod-free in ages either. Also, I need English language.

So, who is the best (English speaking) player currently producing (Video) Let's plays?

Thanks Y'all,

MadDjinn. period.

Also, I need English language.
Marbozir speaks English quite well, better than the majority of Youtubers who say "like" every third word and use "literally" for emphasis. He simply has a rather heavy accent that anyone should be able to adapt to after watching two videos or so.

Marzibor used AI+ on his Australia video. Am looking forward to MadDjinn's. If you're taking requests, I'd like to see Alex Deity early domination.

When I said English, I wasn't trying to exclude Marzibor, I was excluding German language videos mostly.

Filthyrobot! He does play multiplayer, but he is the best civ player out there, so you can learn a lot!

I struggle with watching them, often I am quite shocked at some of what they do. Quill seems more interested in the live chat than the right placement and while entertaining its not very educational.
I have yet got to find one that does diplomacy well. I woukd try but I do not even know what you record with. Because I Teach a lot in my job its a bit meh, and I am not the best player in the world
@MadDjinn do you use diplomacy?

I m pretty sure not everyone had the unique combination of time to play + knack for civ 6 partucular diplomacy as much as you do Victoria. At least that what the fast pace of your (interresting) reports on civfanatics tells me. Maybe you should consider making you own vidz seeing as you are the expert around here. I know I'd watch that on my way to work.

I hope you do not drive a car @Karmah or my game would not be the only wreck out there.
Those that talk a lot are not the best, they just talk about what they know but tx for the confidence.
Concentrating on a diplomacy guide ATM, playtesting is slow because I take down each value of each player each turn. Inthink a dip guide will be more useful than a youtube video and people will be able to correct my errors:queen:

I m no sure you should feel bound by any kind of obligation of results. As long as you give your analysis of the diplomatic situation and your strategy as to how to react (or why you don't care about X current agenda), I think it would be fine, wether your strategy works or fail, we(viewers) would have learned something.
My last push in the subject, more'd be harassment ;)

And no, I take the train for the most days.

It depends on my civ and plans, but yes I do work to ensure I have some AIs who can trade with me as needed, or become allies for when I'm not on a conquest spree. Though, sometimes the AIs secondary agendas remove any chance to play extra nice with them.

I would consider a comeback if I can stomach playing the game, maybe I'll look into UI mods after all. In all likelihood though I'd probably do some Madden/HOMM 5/EU 4/other game splits.

It might get old watching me mow stuff down with units every game too, but w/e. Time to fish for a better headset I guess.
