DISCLAIMER: I realize that I can't ask where to download the game for free, so I'm not going to do that (please don't post it in this thread either, since I don't want to get anyone in trouble).

Anyway, I have a copy of Civ2 Multiplayer Gold Edition. Unforunately, the CD doesn't work any more. I can play it just fine without the CD, but I'm trying to install a copy on my new computer and it won't work. I don't suppose there's any way to get the CD replaced cheaply (or, ideally, for free, since I did pay for the game). Also, if its possible to transfer the files themselves and have the game sitll run, that would be a huge help.

Right now, it seems like wishful thinking, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks :)

It's an old game, you can buy it for like 5 dollars. I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a legal way to redownload the game.
