There reaction so far was something along the lines of no plans yet. The thread where this was discussed seems to have been deleted, though.
However, keep the faith. First, Civ V will be through Steam, which in four days will have a native Mac client. Questions will be asked. Valve, Blizzard and a bunch of other, smaller companies, are releasing their games in native OS X versions, so there is a certain amount of pressure on Firaxis. As some guy once said in a game I once played, all the cool kids are doing this now.
For me, Civ V is the only game I'm interested in this year that isn't going to be out in a native version on the Mac (Portal 2, StarCraft 2, maybe (big maybe) Diablo 3), and I hate dual booting. I'm just saying.
