anybody have dlc problems?

Whenever I try loading a game, it says that I need to purchase a dlc, upgrade1 and Genghis Kahn Mongolia.

I have these 2 dlcs and a legit copy of the game. I had this same problem a few months ago and after a few tries, the save file loaded (was game #11,#12). After a few days, it didn't load. I just gave up after that. I really have no idea why its doing this.

Sorry, not a STEAM expert. But a few things to try if you haven't already done so.

In STEAM, Civ5 Properties screen, click on the Local Files tab and then click on "verify integrity of game cache..."

Please check the Updates tab as well and ensure automatic updates are enabled.

Not sure whether this is a Firaxis problem or a STEAM problem. You could go to 2K's Civ5 support site and ask about it.

I have run into this before...I had a MOD enabled. While it did not happen with any TSG games, it did happen to one I had created myself. I was using the MOD for 'True Start Location' and had it enabled when I started the "MOD" for the Mongols. The way I avoid this is to start my DLC from the 'Scenario' screen and not from the 'MOD' screen. Maybe this is the same as what you are seeing, but I believe it is caused by having a MOD enabled when you save a game and then you disable the MOD and the save file goes looking for it and is unable to detect it, thus throwing up an error saying something is missing.
