Anyone has any idea why my Civ Assistant is trimmed off?

I just installed the newest version of Civ Assistant today, and it's my first time using it -- but I'm having difficulty using it because the menu is partly trimmed off and I can't use some of its feature. Here's a picture of it. Thanks.

Maybe because of the font size? I'm not sure how these DirectX (or DirectDraw) programs work.

Do you have programs like ICQ or AIM running in the background? Try closing those if you do.
