Something that will keep the research slow but speedup building? I enjoy staying in a certain age and battling it out with ancient units, but the build speed is just too much for me :*(
I released a mod called the Extended Era Mod...this is probably what you are looking for...but I have not updated this mod since the latest patch so it might not be working...you can download it and try though....i think it's just what your asking for.
