Anyone playing on x box?

Anyone playing on x box? I’m specifically looking for how people feel it works with the controllers.

At least playing Civ Rev on console was no problem with a controller.

I’m playing on a Series X. Generally quite happy with it. One crash in 30 hours of play and it was on an Age transition not during normal play. Recovery was fine.

Playing on a controller is generally not a problem. I did find scrolling around with left Thumbstick felt a bit slow and clunky when I started, but I have completely forgotten about it at this point and it feels fine. You can also scroll with the Right Thumbstick and it’s faster — the difference is the left Thumbstick changes the active hex whereas the right Thumbstick just shifts the map around, useful for looking, but not selection. But as I say, at this point I don’t notice it.

As per PC version there is a bit of lack of information. And we’re not getting for a while due to the Xbox approval process (same on PS with Sony approval process).

The port seems very solid and the interface seems quite suitable for Consoles.

I'm a little surprised there's not a "center cursor on hex" button. I actually had the Switch version of Civ 6 and when you scrolled around with the right thumb stick, you could press a button to bring the cursor to the place you were looking at instead of back to where ever you left the cursor.

It's not a huge thing, but it was handy in 6 since scrolling with the cursor (left stick) is slower than the right stick. Hopefully it will appear in the future.

I'm on PS5. It's functional but a bit clunky, primarily a UI issue - too many clicks on PC = too many button presses on a controller. Radial menu is a nice upgrade over Civ VI but as mentioned above, no ability to bring the cursor to the place you are looking is a touch irritating.
