I always thought Civ was pretty well optimized and stuff. My PC is a dinosaur and I get 30 FPS (which is good for a strategy game in my opinion) on the highest settings.

Lower graphic settings help with turn times moreso then fps.

No, because (for some reason) Lake Victoria is actually a mountain in the coding, like other NWs.

I think they may have changed Lake Victoria's code in the fall patch because the land tiles around it now have Fresh Water.

No Lake Victoria, but Tlatelolco was pretty nice for me in this game. Too bad the governor doesn't like expanding towards lakes.

thats a real awesome city spot, especially for aztecs. this city will really grow big. LV, some 4food lake tiles, 5food wheat tiles and floating gardens. If you could add ToA and hanging gardens to it and perhaps desert folklore or petra, game over for me^^
