Anyway to increase autosave intervals?

The game crashes quite frequently, and I'd like to know if there was a way to increase the auto saves from once every 4 turns to every turn, so if the game crashes, I can pick back up closer to where I left off. Is this possible in in-game settings or no?

In your CivilizationIV.ini there are two fields for auto saves. One is for how many to keep and one on how often to save.

Yes lots - it depends on your system specification and age.

Only had on crash to desktop and that was because of Skype auto minimizing my window XD

Are you using the SVN build or base v37? I could read off my PC specs if you think that may be the reason I am stable.

I usually just press Ctrl+S after every turn to save and not even worry about autosave. I've been gaming for so long I got into the habit a while ago to save often.

It crashed only when I had memsaver on and I went full screen in other applications.
Except one time when I build very far future buildings called "mythhological animal breeders" that are in SVN.
I played without AI on my test map though.
I researched ALL techs
