Hi All!
I am a newbie to your forum and to Civilization 6. I absolutely love the game. I am playing as a single player via Mac if ya need to know.
Is there anyway to kill a Barbarian Builder? My strongest military unit is one AT Crew Corps. I could combine two more AT Units into one AT Crew Unit if needed. I've got the Barbarian's health down to a little over a quarter in the red, but I can't get it to go any further or to die all together. Any words of wisdom? Any would be greatly appreciated...Thank U!

Just move a military unit on top of an unescorted barb builder and it will capture it.

It's confusing because the movement-range does not include them and there's no marking showing them as an attackable target. But if you order any unit (even an archer) to walk into their tile, you capture them.

You also get that with normal troops, the move marking does not cover them but if you know you shoukd and try, it works. There is quite a few niggly bits like that in the game. Like cancelling movement continuation from last move, you can do it but its just not as polished as civ V was at it

Finally! Captured the stupid barbarian! I think the trick was that I had to finally defeat the barbarian to 0% then a pop up box finally came up that I captured it. Okay, stupid question? What can I do with the captured barbarian now?

Take it back to your territory and use it to build mines and farms.

Are you sure it was a builder you were attacking and not, say, a military unit on the same tile as the builder?

Thanks everyone for your help. The barbarian builder when I captured it after a turn or two turned into a regular builder with 3 builds to use.

It should have become a normal builder as soon as you captured it.
