Please see the Turn 60AD, also Copernicus 60AD for info. We are now researching Astronomy. A Plan to build Copernicus in 8 turns is proposed, and believed correct by several Citizens and Consulars. There will be very little waste, good safety, and the Wine Caravan can still be delivered. Study it, then please vote to approve the Plan by voting Option A; this fixes several other decisions, according to the plan, which may be amended with improvements. Several other decisions are related to the Trireme, not polled here.

Little Nemo: Settlers 30/40 in 4,
one of 2 existing Settlers Must Build a City...
Civvium Serf: Due to less corruption, Forest serf is clearly best.
The TFalls Settler on the Forest can move E E charge, then
NE to build Road N of LN, recommended for 400 years!

Please vote by early Saturday.

The settler near BL with the warrior is building a road. I was going to put both units on the boat if I'd played one more turn as Queen.

It would be better if a few other people voted in this poll. If you're not sure, just vote the first A B C D & E, and vote for the 500 year old road recomendation, Plains N of Little Nemo. That is supposed to optimize our Trade payoff, the new Wine Caravan.

The road square doesn't have to be built before the caravan is delivered. The 'correct' road path of trade routes doesn't affect the initial payoff of the route. It only affects the per turn trade bonus. So, once the road is completed, even if it's after the delivery is complete, the per turn trade bonus will increase.

E. TFalls, Warrior out, serf on Forest, Temple in 1
Do you mean we should move the warrior out of tfalls because that will keep the city happy and we can complete the improvement in one turn instead of two?
Why don't we leave the defence outside the city all the time in such cases? Maybe we have already discussed this? Or don't we want to leave our cities undefended for a long a time?

I didn't know roads didn't affect payoffs:goodjob:

Yep, move the police out and we can then get rid of Elvis. Put the serf on the Forest, so we get 4 shields to complete the TFalls Temple in one turn.

This was discussed somewhat in Civil Disorder , which I just posted to further clarify our current situation in many cities.
