This thread is to deal with our state of relations after the GCA war. The four day poll will be used to guide Fanatikese opinion when the next Apolytonian chat occurs (yet to be scheduled).

This poll/discussion deals with treaties only. Borders are to be discussed in the other thread created for that purpose.

The options...

  • Full alliance: This included a NAP, defensive MPP, full tech parity, and other measures for strong ties with Apolyton. Previous chat indicates this option may be favored by Apolyton.
  • Partial Allaince: NAP and defensive MPP, and perhaps not much more.
  • Peace: A simple, binding peace treaty, with the current NAP in tact.
  • None: ignore Apolyton after the war.
  • War: declare a state of war on Apolyton after GCA is finished.
  • Write-in: please indicate in thread.

Before voting, please discuss the issue. The poll will remain open for four days.

I'm stuck in between 1 and 2.

I think a mpp and nap treaty is fine. We should also trade tech, but we shouldn't be Poly pleasing like the first option would do.

Poly is dangerous. You know it. I know it. Everyone here knows it. Its members have like superpowers or something.

I would really like everyone to think this one over before voting. I'm dead serious. This is a crucial vote. It will determine our policy for possibly the rest of the game.

I am refraining from voting. This does not need to be decided yet, and the reason which I am not voting is due to the territorial division issue. Until we resolve that in a fair and just manor, I do not think we can make a decision of this magnatude.

On the flip side, Poly would make a good ally. We on this continent need to have a united powerbase so that we can keep up with the Goliaths of the other continent. If we stand on our own, we are liable to be crushed much easier than were we united with Poly.

That is exactly true Vander!! Apolyton needs us and we need them, but I find it very irational to vote on this poll until we have settled the territorial issue.

I voted for a Full Alliance. We should support that and ask for that. Though I'm afraid they would brake it and I suggest we lock our borders to avoid a sneak-attack.

I think it's in our advantage to have a Full Alliance with a greater civ. In the same time we shoul try to get decent relations with the others as well.

You mean the issue where we (Poly and CFC) agreed that CFC gets BOP?

I voted for Full Alliance. We should do this to make sure that Poly sees that we need each other and would not make us the newest part of their empire.

I also voted for Full Alliance

I think option one is the only way we can come out on top in this game. If Poly and us don't work together, there is no chance for either of us defeating the players on the other island.

We need to work as a block for the time being, attempt to push the other two nations into continual war with each other, and patiently wait for an oppurtunity to out-manuever Poly to victory.

Yes thats the crucial issue of the week. We need to get on that pronto! If we only get to BoP , we will be reverting back 1000 years.

That's what I thought, when the deal was made in a chat with Poly. I lost internet connection that night and one of us agreed to BOP. When I finally got back to the chatroom, the deal was made. I don't think we can extend the line, but we can try.

Who made that deal!?!?!

Are we forgotting our constitution ladies and gentlemen?!?!

As a person in position of power does not give you the ability to make decisions without approval from the citizens!
