Anyone who plays the piano, what are some middle age Arabian scales? I think A Minor harmonic sounds sort of arabian...i like arabian songs...

yeah Harmonic Minor does have that exotic sound that resembles arabic music a lot...
Here I came up with little scale that sounds a little arabic, try this: C C# E F G G# A# C

Edit: Holy crap i'm stupid... this is harmonic minor in C key, sorry. still sounds arabic though.

i asked what arabic scales tehre were, not whos arabic you dont gotta be arabic to know scales

I don't know arabic music much but I think they don't work with scales so much. They have all sorts of "riffs" so to say. Also, arabic music uses 1/4 tones so it's kind of hard to write them with western notes.
