ICS isn't new. I've only played since Civ II, not one, and I skipped IV mostly (for the previously mentioned reason), but it's hardly new...partly because it's damn satisfying sometimes to stand astride the world like a mighty colossus 
Are there any aspects in which you think CiV surpasses CIV?
