[NFP] Are there Appease the Gods in the future era

Hi I'm having my third shot at The accursed share achievement. Last two games I got my 5th Soothsayer at the start of the Information Era , after winning every Appease the Gods. In the previous game I played for ages into the Future Era but no emergency so I could sack a GDR.
For those that have got this achievement is it a matter of just playing to the emergency pops up in the Future era?
