Are there, or should there be, objective standards of beauty?

"Are there, or should there be, objective standards of beauty?"

I'm unsure of the answer to this, but I'm sure there are objective standards of what is not beauty. It is not entirely universal, but I'd wager that most people find some traits unattractive. For example, yellow teeth, acne, and obesity. Could a standard of beauty be a negative statement, like "not fat"?

No. Definitely not. Some fat birds are very very attractive.

Dirt and smells tend to be not so attractive. But that depends too. I once new a woman smelled, to me, of raspberries. Even straight out of an unscented bath.
