The good thing about the format is that we've got time between turns to do planning. I think to speed up actual playtime it'd be a good idea to have certain districts formed(after we have enough cities for districts) and have the district governors draw up specific plans, in accordance with the general plans of the team as a whole.
I think what we need more than governors and mayors and advisors is an organized forum. We need an instruction thread so that whoever is playing the save knows what should be done. I can't see the need for an instruction thread for every turn. We need one instruction thread that has ONLY instructions and no discussion.
The BIG question is who will post instructions? We may be wise to adopt the demogame method of having governors and advisors so they can post needed and official instructions.
I also do not see the need for a new thread for the results of every turn. One thread should be enough to post screen shots and turn summaries.
well since there are 15 or 16 people here, i think we probably should have more than just the 2 jobs we have now. maybe we should have governors, once we have enough land to split up and such. also, i think we should borrow from the DGVII constitution where the President is control of domestic affairs (and of course game playing), we have a millitary affairs leader, a foreign affairs leader, and a Trade and Tech leader. i think this would cover the basics, and give a fair amount of people something to do.
