As the Grand Vizier Cardinal of research, could you also lead us down the tech path options for focus 1 and focus 2. I think we're going with math first either way right? Also, I grant you the authority to place Ptolemy.

Foreign Relations
Ask Lincoln for Masonry as a token of our friendship.
I suggest not giving in to any demands from either Leader.

Intelligence
Send the unit of your choice (or the master of arms') to scout the Babylonians for troop levels and positions.
Have the Scout presently in Spain recon for all troop levels and positions. We should also keep a close eye out for her next settler.

Espionage
Set all (4) EPs to Lincoln for the duration of the turn session.
 
Trade Master:
I'd like a road from Arkadia to New Giruvegan, through the cow tile, to get New Giruvegan hooked up.
 
Arkadia, finsh the library, it says 39 turns, but with the cow worked it would be approx 26 turns

Worker near Arkadia should build the transport system from Arkadia to NG

Arete, settler + worker (in any order DP can decide) if you then get time, monestry, missionary if you want to spread the religion around, or miltary units

BTW is this turnchat 5 or 10 turns, or does it depend on the poll? :)
 
It depends what the poll tells me to do really, i'd be happy doing either.

Was planning on holding it in the evening, my time. If i can make it online i'll give an hour or so warning.

Improvement priorities:
Road on gold tile.
Road on copper tile.
Camp on Ivory
Road on Ivory
Road between Ivory and city (1E of city)
Road towards Edorai (river); directly SE of New Giruvegan, onto Copper tile; Grassland tile; grassland forest tile; Riverside grassland tile (2W1S of Edorai).
 
We are supposed to run HR, aren't we? Anyway it is a good civic; and if you go
to it, it looks better to go right now and to slavery,too.

And what's the decision about war? To go when more convenient or as soon as
possible? Be what to be our cities must prepare themselves and the realm.

We have 4 cities and they are not connected by roads (rivers carry resources, but not units); we have resources without roads and some not improved; other
tiles need improvements; and to all that we have just 2 workers.
More workers are needed, at least 2, now.
We have not a single granary; every city deserves one.

I am not trying to say that previous turns were wrong; just from now to the
future. The HR civic coupled with the improvements and cities connection fixes
by now the happy and health problems.

So, I recommend:
Worker 2: end farm,road it,road the gold,road plains,camp and road ivory.
Worker 1: road cow,road cottage near Arkadia, go road towards Giruvegan.
Arete: build granary,followed by temple; with grow, leaves cottage and go
work pig and hills (when close to unhappy leaves pig to cottage).
New Gireguvan: build two workers
Edorai: build worker,followed by granary.Change a pop.to rice.
Arkadi: change build to granary,then return to library. Pop. from silk to cow.

Hatsheput will be crushed by our elephants, her cities crushed by the rocks of catapults. Of course, that'll have to wait until we get the necessary techs.
 
We're not running slavery are we? Are we planning on revolting?

I thought our whole platform was running hered rule and slavery, if we're not in slavery im gonna have very little to do.

Yeah but i dislike IRC and its not going to be a turnchat as such, as i wont be able to give running commentary as my comp isn't good enough to be constantly switching in and out.

There wasn't anything about slavery so i revolted anyways to it and hered rule
Asked for masonry from lincoln and he was only too happy to oblige.

Moved worker near NG on to gold hill
couldnt find instructions for Edorai so i started on a Granary
Arete- i figure it may as well grow before a worker/settler, so i start on the next build- monastry
Switch EP to lincoln
Settle acadamy in Arete
Switch tech to math (8 turns)
Send the horsies in Edorai searching

Switch Arete to worker (6)
Worker builds road on gold
Worker near Arkadia builds a road on the cottage.

Turn 4
We're on an island of clever clogs!
Other than that, horses keep exploring

Whip granary in Edorai for 2 pop it also borrows Arete pigs, growth next turn. 29 hammers overflow.

And i stop to go and finish making food.

Spanish lands still very poorly defended whilst lincoln has a few troops but nothing to worry about

Road between Arkadia and NG nears completion whilst NG worker begins work on camp for ivory

Turn 8
NG completes monastry- against my better judgement i start on temple.
Both AI will now trade IW with us.

Turn 9
Hatty wants an IW trade for HBR- i choose to reject it, not sure IW is essential just yet and didnt think you guys would want HBR being traded away just yet
Edorai completes worker- begins archer which can act as MP for other cities.
Horsies are still exploring but aren't really finding anything interesting

Our demographics are pretty poor so far, for the future i think that Arkadia should switch to granary and whip/chop that out as soon as possible then finish the lib. We should have another GS in 3 turns so perhaps an acadamy can be founded there but spanish culture is starting to infringe quite a bit on it.

The demographics should improve as we start gaining more and more out of monarchy, once arete has finished on its current settler build i believe it should be left to the other cities to produce the majority of worker/settler units so arete can grow. For instance NG does not need a temple yet it is building one. The HA are exploring but have finished the island now so theres little more to see. Following currency i think we should head toward CoL but if we want war then construction would probably be better as Hatty is still v poorly defended but also starting to get boxed in.

edit- how am i meant to upload files to cfc these days?
