I'll grant you that. Though in fairness, most console games (at least on the Xbox 360) don't offer compelling reasons to replay them outside of getting additional achievements.

You wan't easy achievements, get NFS Most Wanted and just finish the story. Full points (is it 1000 or 2000?). I don't know any game where it is easier to get points.

I play similar multiplayer games for similar reasons. But you were referring to Assassin's Creed's single player element, and my point still stands: there are few games out there whose single-player campaigns warrant additional replays.

Still wasn't worth my $60.

I don't care for racking up achievements or gamerscore, and if I did I certainly wouldn't play a NFS game for that reason.

Thankfully, they make a variety of games to suit a variety of tastes.

I agree, actually. But the conspicuous consumerist in me forces me to buy my games rather than rent them. Ah well, I'll learn my lesson someday.

i thought halo 3 did, well except for that awful penultimate level, although part of that could have been acheivements i replayed it on heroic, legendary and then with most of the skulls on for campaign scoring- the skulls really change the game, they make it so much more difficult, and some of them force you to play a different way
