1 - I am launching a campaign to conquer the world. However, Democracy won't do, natch. I was looking at Communism for a while, but I am very rich and like to rush production with $$$. So I chose Monarchy. Everything is so bloody inefficient and the money has dropped to a fifth of the current flow. I have courthouses everywhere. Is Communism my only option?

2 - Can you destroy a city in a bombardment?

3 - I am attacking the French, who just created musketeers. However, I'm bombing the hell out of them from my two aircraft carriers. Conceivably, at their level of tech, are my bombers guaranteed to come back from every mission? Or can they still meet with accidents?

4 - Can tanks bombard? IF not, why not?!

5 - The "rush production" hero option is crazy, IMHO. It really sets the game off kilter. I mean suppose we were multiplaying and I was working on Copernicus' Observatory and within 4 turns of finishing it, which would give me a huge science edge in our deadlocked science race. Well you get a hero, start production in a weak city (99 turns to finish) and you get it NEXT TURN? Heroes aren't terribly hard to come by, either. Anyone else feel this way?

6 - I can't find an intelligence report on the other Civs. I can see the diplomatic status and I get the chat screens, but nowhere do I see their city list or what they are working on. Is this gone?

7 - Is it just me, or does Espionage really suck now?

8 - It seems every time I go into a "new age," I get a free civ advance. Is this true, or my imagination?

9 - Can someone tell me, precisely, how war weariness is figured? Is it (turns you are at war) - (turns you are at peace)/city size or something? How long is a good interval before you can safely go to war again?

10 - What does the UN do if you don't have an option for Diplomatic Victory? Anything?

11 - How in the world did a creep like Tim Burton snag a hottie like Lisa Marie (Vampira in Ed Wood, buxom Mrs. Crane in Sleepy Hollow)? :(

1) Monarchy is really inefficient, try razing instead of claiming...build the Forbidden Palace...suck up the corruption and go all or nothing with your current tech...Communism is a viable alternative.

2) Nope, just get it to size 1 (at least I think...10 battleships bombarding a city over 5 turns never destroyed it for me)

3) Bombers always come back all the time...there is no air superiority yet (broken) and they obviously don't have the tech for SAMs

4) No, I dunno

5) I hardly ever seen GLs, and never more than 2 in a game. I don't generally play militaristic nations though.

6) Gone, though good riddance...I just wish there was a way you could pay through espionage or something to get this information (heh, and then sell it around the world to the highest bidder!)

7) It sucks, way to cost prohibitive in my opinion.

8) You are playing a scientific civ, its your advantage.

9) Nope, sorry I generally haven't had much of a problem with it. However I think as soon as you are fully at peace with everyone it gets put on hold, so you could theoretically attack someone else with a zero counter...however I'd guess you have to wait for the peace treaty to expire to attack the original civ.

10) Adds culture

11) Money is a powerful aphrodesiac and some girls like wacked out guys...
