ATI help

okay so on the support page on the main civ site, i got to the part where you have to uninstall the ATI card, but i have to do it on the ATI customer care site and i have no idea what i'm doing. help, anyone? thanks

You don't need to remove the card, just the drivers. ATI has a utility for removing all ATI software. Run that puppy and reboot. Your card should get reset to a standard VGA.

how do i get to the utility?

Go here , pick your OS, and look for the uninstall.

Ok, I assume you have a desktop with a Radeon card.

ok so everything went fine (i think) until i started the game and it didnt "fail to initialize". and then i tried to install the thing, and it said it was going to install, but then crashed. and there are still floating eyeballs
