Okay, I've spent a 2 hours combing through this forum looking for information to get the game to work, and what I've come up with is that I need to update my driver. However, I went to the ATI site and couldn't find a driver that I could install without error. So I'm at a loss what to do next and hopefully someone here can help me.
My problem - the game starts but all I hear is music and eventually I get a screen with the Civilization logo and the earth spinning and no menu from which to select.
I've got an IBM ThinkPad T40 laptop with an ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 video card with a driver level of 6.14.10.6422.
