and do u HAVE to uninstall the drivers u have already?
cuz i tried that and i uninstalled and next thing i know, suddenly i dont have a Graphics Card at all and when i tried to install the driver i downloaded off the ATI website, it said it couldn't install because there was necessary hardware missing.
I had to do Recovery on my computer and start it off as it was when I first bought it.
So ya... is there an english version and...
How do I uninstall my current driver and install the better (?) driver WITHOUT losing my graphics card? Or what are the steps I have to take? (In simple language, preferably)
as reply to all who ask for an english version, the driver on the mentioned webpage is english! it;s just a german website providing, thought german/english would be so similar everyone could read it..sorry if not, anyway, just search in google im sure you'll find it with the right search query
uninstall..well yes, it's normal if you uninstall all the drivers from ATI that windows finds the graphical card as new hardware and you must install it completely new..that's exactly the point!

the driver provided on the link though is not for the A.I.W maybe? im not sure, i searched for the radeon 9800 drivers not for the AIW 9800 drivers..maybe their the same, but on the ATI page they are different, so i guess it's like always just a matter of finding the right driver..but anyway, just must uninstall the older first.
do not uninstall from any other location as the control panel add/remove programs!! else you might get a fraudulous uninstallation!
the
it said it couldn't install because there was necessary hardware missing. is most likely due to not properly uninstall of the drivers.
as answer to a post before this one, yes you must first uninstall!!! i found out if you don't do that, you keep some .dll which are not replaced by the older drivers and therefore causing problems even in windows, so make sure you first do a proper uninstall at any case, as if you just installed your windows completely new.
