I've been trying to figure out whether my audio card is causing crashes.

Can anyone decipher whether my audio log file is telling me that my card is causing crashes? My card is a SoundBlaster X-Fi (new card, latest drivers).

Here's a few key lines from my most recent audio log - although this log is from an ongoing game that hasn't crashed in a while (670BC).

[657.375] Audio Manager: Loading Audio Defines file XML\Audio\AudioDefines.xml...

[658.453] Audio System: Starting Miles.
[658.718] Audio System: Opening the sound driver.
[659.593] Audio System: Could not locate audio card information.

OK - interestingly enough, the Options/Audio ingame screen indicates that my soundcard is indeed an SB X-Fi - Civ4 got that information from somewhere. The log continues:

[659.593] Audio System: Initializing base audio system...
[659.593] Audio System: Calculating and distributing voices.
[659.625] Audio System: VOICES: Total: 128
[659.625] Audio System: VOICES: Streams: 10
[659.625] Audio System: VOICES: 2D: 54

[659.625] Audio System: Successfully initialized 2D samples.
[659.625] Audio System: Initializing 3D samples...
[659.625] Audio System: Successfully initialized 3D samples.
[659.625] Audio System: Successfully initialized base audio system.
[659.625] Audio System: Successfully initialized Miles Audio System.
[659.625] AudioManager: Successfully initialized the audio system.
[659.625] AudioManager: Successfully initialized the audio manager.

Here the log file repeats the following at least 20 times:

[2031.015] ERR: FSharedSoundData::Load: Could not read file Sounds/March.
[2031.015] WRN: Dynamic resident sound could not be loaded, GlobalId: 305
[2031.015] WRN: FSound::DoLoad: Sound Sounds/March could acquire a loaded buffer.

This is repeated, although the leading numbers "[2076.000]" are different for each incident. And then the audio log continues with:

[3114.375] WRN: FAudioManager::DoSound(): Could not load scriptId 322./n
[3201.656] WRN: FAudioSystemMiles::Acquire3DSampleId: Could not acquire Id
[3201.656] ERR: FSound3D::InitHandle(): SoundId 693 could not initialize handle for variation 1
[3201.656] ERR: FSound3D::DoLoad: Could not initialize handle for sound Sounds/Units/ArrowQuiver.
[3201.656] WRN: FAudioManager::Do3DSound(): Could not load scriptId 329./n
[3234.484] ERR: FSharedSoundData::Load: Could not read file Sounds/March.
[3234.484] WRN: Dynamic resident sound could not be loaded, GlobalId: 305
[3234.484] WRN: FSound::DoLoad: Sound Sounds/March could acquire a loaded buffer.

And then with more repeats of the following:

[3234.484] WRN: FAudioManager::DoSound(): Could not load scriptId 322./n
[3234.484] ERR: FSharedSoundData::Load: Could not read file Sounds/March.
[3234.484] WRN: Dynamic resident sound could not be loaded, GlobalId: 305
[3234.484] WRN: FSound::DoLoad: Sound Sounds/March could acquire a loaded buffer.

What clues can I derive from this information?

EDIT: Added contents of INIT log file (showing 1.52 installed) and attached DxDiag. Also, the sounds and music play seemingly normally - my reading the above log was my first evidence that sound may not have been performing properly.
