Australian Release Date

Anyone know when the game is released down here in OZ? Please help, we are dying of withdrawl over here... My friend here told me it was delayed till the 3rd of next month!

According to Games Warehouse it is the 3rd of November.

Confirming that, today (25 Oct) I was told 3 Nov by an EB in Sydney. 14 Nov for the Prima Strategy Guide.

Just play a few last games of Civ 3 before it gets relegated to the scrap heap. It wasn't a bad game, was it?

(Is Games Warehouse still in business? I ordered something from them yonks ago, and it never came. They never charged the card, so "no harm, no foul". I see that their web site is still active, but are they processing orders?)

EB told me the same thing... i was looking forward to it so much to play over the long weekend (for those of you who live in Victoria.. 4 day weekend!) then they tell me it gets released the day after the weekend finishes... during my exams...

And sadly i haven't been able to play Civ3 for over a year because my CD got scratched and i've just been waiting for Civ4 instead of buying a new copy.

I don't know about Games Warehouse tbh. I ordered something from there 5 months ago and it was still going fine.

Is Prima the Official Strategy Guide for Civilization 4? I heard that BradyGames is the Official Strategy Guide. What's the difference?

Me bad, I cannot confirm that it's a Prima Guide. I just heard "strategy guide" and assumed Prima. I guess this ruins my chance of being an ace reporter for the Daily Planet. Although this should increase my chance of being a political advisor.
