Auto Whip??

I have installed on my computer the most recent BAT mod. Without changing any default settings (I think), when a build nears completion, the computer auto whips it if possible. Is this a setting or a bug or what? Any help appreciated.

There is definitely no code to auto-whip items in BULL (the BUG/BAT DLL). There is an alert telling you that you can whip an item. Are you mistaking this for actual whipping?

What DoubleCheck is describing can happen, but it's a BTS feature. It's called automate production. The governor decides what to build and when to whip/rushbuy. It's the button on the left, right below the whip one IIRC.

Yes thanks, that's it. I feel really stupid now, but I was getting pretty annoyed. Does anyone actually use that? Is is ever useful for someone who's not a beginner?

I use it in very large games where you have 15+ cities in later stages. You never have slavery then though although eating up your gold happens quickly but can be beneficial in universal suffrage.

It's not terrible at what it does either.
