I was thinking to myself how I can do less micro management on the worker and this idea came to me.
The idea is really just another way to automate workers.
Well, the problem so far with worker automation is that it always works on things you don't want them to do!
So, why not make it possible for them to do the things you WANT them to do! And how do we do that? Well, add a new function where I can mark each terrian with the works that needs to be done. After marking, display a tiny overlay (and I really mean tiny) at the corner of the tile and/or add a new switch to toggle terrain task overlay similar to the grid toggle. Next, when I automate workers with a new command, they will work on the specific task that I have instructed on the tiles with the marked orders. The order of priority maybe closest tile with marked orders subjected to the current 2 worker max rule (or maybe allow an interface to let the player choose max worker per task). When these workers finish all possible marked task, they will automatically go to the nearest city and sentry (or just sentry on spot).
