....... The video is aw inspiring, I would love having one of these next to the red box at the gas station around the corner :D At the very least I am guessing it's better than frozen pizza.

I am more surprised that I understood nearly every word in that video....... I wasn't really intending on, but since it will only take me a few months I think I'll go ahead and learn Italian.

Automatic rivet bolting on car in assembly line robot can not be as good as a human.

Let us not live in the past luddites!!!!!

No seriously, it's all fresh ingredients. Let's not pretend that making a pizza is some mystical experience, it's just dough - sauce - cheese - topping.

I don't know how good this thing make pizza (which is why I ask) but I am sure eventually machines will be able to prepare any food we like the way we like.

Yeah, the fact that it's made essentially from scratch in 2.5 minutes is very cool. I really want one...

I want everything in that video, including the pizza girl.

But yeah, this would make an excellent addition to American Gas Stations. I'd totally use it.

It's about $32,000 (I am guessing a franchisers cost would be around that?)

Around 700 calories and 3.25 Euros. 3.50 Pounds.

There is one or more in the U.K. atm, I haven't been able to find out where so I can send Mise out on a reconnaissance mission. Though as these things go, I am sure London lucked out again and got it first.

I can't tell if this is the best thing ever or if it's the worst thing ever...

Machines don't know what tastes good.

It's easy as pie, I'll need a squeeze a day.

They are clearly talking about needing dough.

I am just a pizza machine and my food taste good to luddites too.

More than just dough is required to make a pizza.

And dough is used in many different things.

Did you watch the pizza?

It mixes the dough fresh, from flour on the spot (which is more than you can say for 99% of pizza places, and taste much better on the spot that way)

Stretches it, adds sauce, cheese, and toppings in specified amounts.

I am not saying that I expect this to be epicly great pizza, but the fact of the matter is (here in the U.S.) What 80%+ of the market is Domminos, Pizza Hut, Papa Jons, Little Cesars etc big chain places that are not great, but better than a frozen pizza from the supermarket.

I would bet that this machine is better than Domminos.

The chains?, that is a given.

My question is, is this machine on par with a chain?

If so it could be very interesting how the market takes this.

P.S., there are a hell of a lot of songs with the words love and machine in them.

Local pizza shop destroys any of them.

Right, and I wouldn't expect this to compete with your local good pizza shop. I would expect this to compete with the casual pizza market....against frozen pizzas, and crap places like Dominos, Little Ceasars, etc.

Plus, these look personal sized.
