Autosave

Hi guys. Look an important autosave file of mine was deleted and i hadnt saved that turn. Is there anyway i can recover it. It wasnt in my recycle bin and I didnt see it when i used some deleted file recovery software. If you guys have any advice at all it would be great. (there must be something coz im not traveling back 100 turns and im not happy to lose the town i lost either)

If you deleted all of your autosaves, I'm afraid you're probably out of luck.

The default maximum number of autosaves is 5. If you're past that you're probably out of luck as EvilConqueror stated. For future reference, you can increase the maximum number of autosaves by changing your ini settings. See the following link for a how to.

You can also use a program like CivAssistII to copy the files from your autosave directory to another one.
