Alright: I ogt my avatar thing ready, but I can't find the upload or browse button. Is it hidden, or deactiviated, or what? Maybe this has already been asked, but I'm to tired to sift through all these pages.

Yes, it is hidden until you have been a member for 30 days. Doesn't sound like that long, but it sure feels like it. Well, it did for me anyway. I look forward to seeing your avvie (if it's good, that is).

I've attached the two high res pics with transparency and the same two made suitable for use as an avatar. I wasn't too happy with the jagged edges around the 2nd one, but I couldn't find another way of saving it without those compression artifacts and keeping within the size limit (it was 1kB too large).

Well, my limits are 6.0 KB and 80 x 80, not 4.0 KB and 70 x 70.

So if it's not too much trouble, do you want to give it another try?

No problem. I'm sure you'll notice they are much better quality, despite being larger. 80x80 with 6kB is a very reasonable limit!
