Well stormbind, like everyone else, I didn't have much luck with your image. It's a fine piece of art, but by its nature, it just doesn't work very well as a small avatar. Sorry...

Anyway, here's my stab at it...

Thanks everyone who tried - they were all nice images.

I do think Raijer came closest to what I was hoping for

Do you still have the pre-rendered version (with layers)? I would like see this image with a scenic background and maybe square. If it's too time consuming, maybe I could have a go at using your layer on a photo background.
