Note that the aa color I used there is out of date, though. The color I use now is D3D9DD.

Just as soon as I can spend more than 15 minutes at my computer (still in the process of moving ) I will update LAHP as soon as I possibly can. I'm falling WAY behind But I promise as soon as I can get it updated I will!

PNG-24 supports partial transparency, but IE doesn't implement it by default.

PNG-24 is a rather large format, though and is not well suited to avatars. This one is 6.3k:

Actually it is kinda a major deal.... But unfortunately I do not have the skill to fix the problem I've mussed with it 3 times and I can't seem to get it right.
